This Literature course is available for anyone who loves poetry, literature, and learning about different cultures. It is also orientated to students from public and private American and Canadian Universities or Colleges interested in learning about the Nicaraguan Literature and Culture. Focused on learning about the origins of the Nicaraguan literature, the participants will learn about the Modernism movement led by Rubén Darío; the vanguardism movement including their leaders, and the poets and writer after the vanguardism. The participants for this Literature course must have a good command of the Spanish language to be able to understand all of the concepts and the reading materials included in the course. University Spanish level 300, 400 is perfect; levels B2, C1 is appropriated; Conversational level is perfect. This course includes visits to the house of Rubén Darío in León, and his grave in the same city. Homestay, food, Wi-Fi, Airport pick up are included in the cost.
